1) Early quitting - If you decide that you cannot handle the game anymore, and must quit, please do so from Start (pause) > Quit Game. Anybody that quits by cutting off xbox and possibly ruining the other person's chance of winning (a.k.a. game is cancelled) you will be booted from league til I feel otherwise.
2) Trading - All trades will be sent as majority vote. Please give me the trade before the last minute if possible.
A) Only acceptable answers: yes / no
B) If the answer is "I don't care, doesn't matter, etc", it will be counted as a "NO"
C) Majority vote of "YES" must be obtained for trade to be allowed
D) You cannot vote for yourself
E) Your trades will be placed on trading block in the order that I receive them
F) Trades will not be put to vote if you are taking last player from position on computer team without giving one to replace.
G) All trades must be voted on before I will sim to the next week...so VOTE VOTE VOTE
H) DO NOT PUT TRADE IN BEFORE VOTE HAS FINISHED. If you do so, and the trade goes through, I will have to spend my time to rearrange your team back. If I have to do this...don't be mad if you lose somebody else that you didn't want to lose.
I) EXCEPTIONS...human trades do not follow the guidelines above. Humans should have their own logic.
3) Time left to play - If you are the last 1 or 2 people left to play your game, you have 2 days to complete. If you cannot, and know you cannot, please let me know so that I may sim. NO TEXT MESSAGES asking why such and such has not played. Send those messages to the person at hand. Playoff games do not apply...I will simply bug you to death to play during this time.
4) Human vs. Human matchup difficulties - If 1 person will not be available within 2 days to play your human vs. human matchup, and you are the last to play, the person who cannot compete must drop from franchise to allow the other to play their game. Then, once simmed, you can rejoin and play your next game.
5) Lag - If you are playing against Brian (j/k), or a person and the game is lagging, decide to restart the game PRIOR to second half. It is not fair to restart if you are losing by 14 points (for example) in the 4th quarter.
6) My opponent left the game - We all have been a victim of someone being dropped out of the game. Confirm that it was not an early quit (See #1) first and foremost. If the lead is more than 2 possessions and you are at the end of the 3rd quarter at least, please continue to play the computer and finish the game.
7) Playoff and Superbowl excemptions - If someone lags out of a playoff game, you must restart the game. The exception for this would be a 3 possession game in the middle or end of the 4th quarter. If that is the case, please proceed to finish the game against the computer. (This rule may be changed at a later date)
8) Preparation - If you do not want to play somebody due to lagtastic experiences, you can opt for them to play from a different facility. My house is available, and I'm sure Mr. Goss will be fine with that as well. This will not be effected by the 2 day penalty if it is a playoff game or if the facilities are not available.
9) Next week ready - Please do not send me constant texts asking if the next week is ready. Pop your game disc in, and check it. It takes 2/3 minutes. I will let EVERYONE know via text when the next week is ready as BEST as I can. If you are unsure if you received my text, check by putting your disc in the tray and enter Madden itself.
